Evolve

Description

EVOLVE is an online training platform developed by Weber School District allowing teachers, administrators and staff to learn district supported technology on their own time, at their own pace, and from anywhere. The EVOLVE model consists of training tracks based on job type. Each track is customized to your job type so you are only seeing courses that are relevant to you. Additionally, each track is divided into five levels: Foundation, Core, Integrated 1, Integrated 2 and Integrated 3.The foundation level contains all the fundamental technology and systems that you need to know to do your job effectively on a daily basis. This includes courses on Employee Online, Email, MyStudent and more. This acts as the starting point for all users regardless of job type. The core level will introduce you into technology that is intended to enhance your ability to effectively do your job. Whether your job is teaching or administration, these courses will teach you technologies that help you become more efficient, save time, make class more interactive and engaging, and enhance the overall education experience in your classroom or school. The integrated levels start to explore device specific technology and classroom/school integration strategies. When you reach this level you are starting with the basic device-level training and then moving to the intermediate (Integrated 2) and advanced (Integrated 3). Each course builds on the previous and the track is open, meaning that you can pick your technology and just start learning.
